Release and Reception
Mowgli was initially scheduled to release on 12 December 2025, but it was eventually released in theatres on 13 December 2025.
The film received mixed to negative reviews from critics. Srivathsan Nadadhur of The Hindu appreciated Bandi Saroj Kumar’s performance but criticized the overall writing. OTTPlay also shared a similar opinion and rated the film 2/5. BH Harsh of Cinema Express gave the same rating, noting that the film attempts intense emotional moments without properly building the narrative stakes, which made its mythological symbolism less effective.
